December House and Garden review. What a wonderful home. It’s a must see and hopefully my husband and I will be visiting in 2025.

Nice house

This property is a house built in the very early 19th Century on the outskirts of York and, with minor exceptions, still enjoys the same views now as it did then as it is located in a very quiet unspoilt part of the countryside. The house itself is small by stately home standards but is quite a large dwelling with some interesting features. You are shown around by the current owner who is a collector of Yorkshire Impressionist paintings which are on display at certain times of the year.

Great historical home, very gracious hosts. Very enjoyable evening.
